MirrorFold Press is not currently open to unsolicited submissions.

This imprint operates with limited capacity and a deliberately narrow editorial focus. New submission windows will be announced publicly if and when the press expands.

Editorial Scope (Future Consideration)

When MirrorFold Press considers outside work, it will be looking for fiction that aligns structurally and tonally with the imprint’s core mandate.

• Queer M/M fiction that treats desire as embodied experience rather than trope or performance.
• Mythic or contemporary narratives built around recursion, memory, ritual, and psychological consequence.
• Sexually explicit work where intimacy carries emotional and narrative weight.
• Structural ambition—work that understands form as part of meaning.

MirrorFold Press is not interested in genre replication, market imitation, or sanitized representations of queer intimacy.

Authorial Perspective

MirrorFold Press prioritizes work authored by men writing M/M fiction from lived, embodied perspective. This preference reflects the imprint’s editorial focus and the voices it was built to hold.

This is not a judgment of merit, craft, or legitimacy elsewhere. It is a matter of scope. MirrorFold Press exists to publish a specific kind of narrative voice, shaped by particular relationships to masculinity, desire, and intimacy.

Other queer work deserves space. This imprint is not attempting to hold all of it.

When submissions open, guidelines will be published on this page. Unsolicited manuscripts sent outside an open window will not be reviewed.
